The site is provided as is, without warranty. It is a research project, not a professional service: nothing here is medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and no result published here should be treated as guidance for a personal decision.

Participation is voluntary, anonymous, and free. Please submit one honest entry per day and do not attempt to inflate, automate, or otherwise manipulate a register — doing so damages a shared dataset that other people rely on. Entries identified as manipulation may be excluded from analysis, and any exclusion rule applied is documented alongside the data.

Text, charts, and data published here are licensed CC BY 4.0. You may reuse and adapt them, including commercially, provided you attribute occultresearch.org and keep any evidence label attached to a claim you reproduce. Third-party material — quotations and images from archives — remains under its own terms, noted where used.

We try to be accurate and we publish our sources so errors can be found. Articles carry revision dates, and substantive corrections are recorded rather than silently applied. If you find a mistake, please tell us.

These terms may change as the project grows. Material changes will be noted with a new revision date on this page. An open experimental protocol, by contrast, cannot be changed while its register is open — that is the point of preregistration.
